As Michael’s House kicked off its alumni weekend, artist Alejandro Olmo was on hand to help unveil “La Casa de Miguel,” which depicts a street scene in San Miguel de Allende

Artist Alejandro Olmo never imagined when he was commissioned to help transform the walls of a building in a hidden courtyard off North Palm Canyon Drive that he would one day help strengthen the ties between Palm Springs and its newest sister city. On Friday evening, that’s exactly what happened.
